Beautification Committee to help village residents clean up debris
Due to cost factors affecting the village's ability to remove debris from residents' properties as a result of the recent snow storm, the Beautification Committee of the Pawling Chamber of Commerce is working on a plan to assist the village residents with the removal of tree limbs/branches from their property. The limbs/branches may not be greater than 6 inches in diameter and the debris must clearly be recent. The debris should be placed at the edge of one's property with the cut end facing the road. Those looking to take advantage of this program should be sure to have their debris at the edge of their property by Sunday, November 13th. One pass will be made along each street of the village.
Please be advised that the Transfer Station will be open to all Pawling Town/Village residents to bring brush on Thursday, November 10, 2011, Saturday, November 12, 2011 and Monday, November 14, 2011. The Transfer Station is open from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The Transfer Station will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2011 for Veteran's Day.
