MEETING NOTICE

ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to public health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, the Village of Pawling Village Board will not be meeting in-person. In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order 202.1, the May 4, 2020 board meeting will be held via conference call, and a transcript will be provided at a later date. The public will have an opportunity to hear the meeting live.

The public can listen to the live meeting on a conference call. Interested members of the public call into the meeting at (978) 990-5000, access code 591-320#. Comments can also be provided via email before and after the meeting to Jennifer Osborn at josborn@villageofpawling.org. Please check the meeting Agenda posted on the website for further instructions to access the virtual meeting and for updated information.  PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE BEFORE THE MEETING TO CONFIRM PHONE NUMBER AND ACCESS CODE.

On the evening of May 4, 2020, 5 minutes before 7 P.M., call in to the above number. You will be placed on hold until the meeting starts. 

Mayor Liffland is exploring the option of waiving village tax payment penalties for 60 days and to allow partial payments made without additional fees dependent on Dutchess County approval.   This action would assist our residents and businesses to have additional financial means as we adapt to the daily impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We know many families are struggling to make ends meet during this difficult and uncertain time.

The Village of Pawling is here to support our community and hopes to provide comfort and relief during these unprecedented times.
